Waste Capacity Need Assessment 2023
The Waste Capacity Need Assessment 2023 is a quantitative assessment based on best available up-to-date information. It seeks to identify the need for additional waste management capacity in ÄûÃʵ¼°¹ for the period to 2042 by forecasting waste arisings and assessing capacity provided by existing waste management facilities in the county. The assessment will form part of the evidence base supporting the preparation of the Minerals and Waste Local Plan, and inform the monitoring of the ÄûÃʵ¼°¹ Waste Local Plan 2020 and decision making relating to waste management development.
