Easter holiday events

Come and join in the following eggciting events!

Colouring competition

Saturday 5 April to Saturday 26 April.

Show off your artistic skills and enter Pebble's special colouring competition to win a delicious Easter egg!

Suitable for children of all ages. 50p to enter.

Collect your colouring sheet at the desk any time during our usual opening hours, and return it to the Chertsey Library by 26 April.

Spring crafts

Monday 7 April to Saturday 19 April.

Come and make a hatching chick, a baby chick nest, and an Easter wreath!

Suitable for ages 4+. Drop in anytime during the holidays during usual opening hours.

Cost £1 per craft. All materials provided.

Celebrate Victory in Europe (VE) Day 80 and ÄûÃʵ¼°¹ Day

Tuesday 6 May until Saturday 10 May during regular open hours.

  • Dig for victory by decorating a pot and planting a mini garden (£1).
  • Colour in and make a simple Spitfire model (50p). Suitable for ages 4 and up.
  • Design your own Medal (free).

Pebble rhymetime and storytime

Pebble rhymetime

  • Every Tuesday from 10:30am until 11am.
  • Every Saturday from 11am to 11.30am

Pebble playtime

Every Friday from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.

Short rhymes and short stories followed by parental free play.

Storytime

There are currently no stand alone Storytime sessions at Chertsey Library. See section Pebble playtime above.

Reading groups

First Edition reading group

Every 6 weeks on a Monday from 3.30pm until 4.30pm.

Other events

Chatter & cheer

Every Monday from 2pm to 3.30pm.

Drop in for a friendly chat over a cup of tea.

Run in conjunction with Time to Talk and open to anyone.

Chertsey Woolcraft Guild

Every Tuesday from 2.15pm until 4pm.

If you are interested in joining or want to learn about knitting/crocheting or using a spindle, please pop down and they will show you. Everyone is welcome.

Friends of Chertsey library coffee and cake morning

Every Friday from 10am until 12 noon.

No booking required, just turn up to the library to get cake and coffee for £1.50

Digital support volunteer

Do you want help using a computer, the internet, IT related problems or your iPad, tablet or iPhone?

Chertsey library does not currently have a Digital support volunteer.
